Shuttle Service

Shuttle hours: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily

Once here, we know it’s tough to leave. However, if you do want to go to town, leave the driving to us! One of the most convenient services at the Grand Colorado on Peak 8 is the free in-town shuttle service. The Grand Colorado is also steps from the BreckConnect Gondola, which offers free, fast service right into the heart of Breckenridge (during seasonal operating hours).

The shuttle service will take you to downtown Breckenridge and pick you back up when you’re ready to return to your mountain home. Shuttles typically run 8a.m. – 10p.m.–check with the Concierge for exact hours.

Pick up and drop off requests must be made in order to ride the shuttle.
Pick-up times may vary based on time of day and traffic levels in the town.
City Market & the Ice Rink stops are not available from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily due to traffic levels.
Wait times for shuttle will vary based on season and time of day. (Evening times tend to be a long wait due to increased traffic in town)

Ullr Café proudly serves sustainably sourced Colorado roasted Vail Mountain Coffee. Choose from various roasts and specialty drinks—Americanos, cappuccinos, lattes, white mochas, chai teas and more. Be sure to try the Ullr Blend, crafted by the award-winning Vail Mountain Coffee Roasters just for Ullr Café.

From first chair to après-ski, our friendly slopeside coffeehouse and pub is your grab-and-ski stop for croissants, bagels, muffins, scones, cookies and breakfast burritos. Or, grab an energy bar before jumping back on the hill or out on the ice rink.

Enjoy a classic cocktail menu with mimosas, margaritas, Moscow mules and our famous fully loaded bloody Mary complete with olives, pepperoncini, pickle, lime, cheese cube, bacon and even a famous “Daylight Donut” sausage roll, all skewered and served with a souvenir mug! Our “self-pour” beer wall offers featured Colorado brews and a variety of wines. Try each one–ounce by ounce!

Lobby Bar

Hours: 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily

The views are spectacular, the service is first-class, and the cocktails are delightful. Raise your glass and take in the unrivaled views from the finest ski lodge in Colorado, located in the heart of The Grand Lobby.

Along with beer, wine, and divine cocktails, The Lobby Bar also offers fun activities such as beer tasting and Family Trivia Night. Visit the Activities Desk for more information.

Elev8 Lounge

Located on the 4th floor of Building 3, enjoy 360° views from this rooftop patio. Open to owners and guests from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with limited bar service hours. Inquire with Concierge at extension 3520 for bar hours.

Robbie’s Tavern

Robbie’s Tavern at the Bergenhof features breakfast (seasonal), lunch and dinner, offering upscale comfort food, unique twists on favorite pub items, a curated craft beer collection, signature cocktails, wine and après-ski specials. Long time local and chef “Cip” serves what many believe is the best cheesesteak outside of Philly! Appetizers such as pretzel knots and chicken drummies are crowd pleasers. Enjoy looking out the expansive windows at the slopes or head out to the deck–complete with “fire table” seating that creates an atmosphere like none other.

Peak 8 Market

Market hours: 24/7 – please ring the bell for Night Audit assistance if you are between the hours of 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.

Located in Building 1 in the Grand Lobby offering a variety of snacks, grab-and-go items, and pain relief items.

We are excited to offer a selection of alcoholic beverages as well which are available for purchase between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m.

Aquatics

Hours: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily

The Grand Colorado on Peak 8 offers two luxurious aquatics areas, featuring indoor/outdoor pools and multiple hot tubs, children’s pools with play features, and a water slide, all with unparalleled views of Peak 8.

Outdoor Aquatics
The outdoor pools and hot tubs are perfectly situated so that you can relax while taking in the breathtaking views. In addition to the pools and hot tubs, the resort offers conveniently located BBQ grills in the outdoor aquatics area for owners and guests to enjoy. Please note that children under the age of 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult when using the pools and hot tubs.

Infinity Spa & Grotto

An escape within your escape. Infinity Spa and the adult-only grotto are sanctuaries within the Grand Colorado. Indulge in an 80-minute massage. Treat yourself to a manicure/pedicure. Let tension melt away in the grotto’s hot tub, cold plunge pool and steam room. Listen as the cascading waterfall lulls you into a state of zen.

Infinity’s natural skin and body care products are results-oriented and blessed by mother nature herself. Begin your journey by enjoying our calming oasis in the Relaxation Room. Then, indulge in one of Infinity’s signature treatments followed by a soak in our restorative grotto.

Family Fun Center

Hours: 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily

The Family Fun Center offers exciting games such as Guitar Hero, Pac Man, Fooseball, SnoCross, Shuffleboard and more!

Five private movie theaters are available by reservation for owners and guests. Each theater is equipped with state-of-the-art video technology and is operated by using a touch screen pad to select a movie or to watch DirecTV.

Fitness Center

Hours: 5 a.m. to 10 p.m daily

The cardio and weight-centric fitness center at the Grand Colorado has unparalleled views for the health-conscious to enjoy during their workout. We are excited to now offer Peleton bikes. All weight training equipment is from Technogym, known for building commercial-grade apparatus often used in Olympic training facilities. There is also an area for stretching and yoga.

There are individual televisions and iPod docking stations built into each piece of cardio equipment. The Kinesis cable crossover machines by Technogym are being touted as the “next step” in this type of exercise equipment.

Ice Skating Rink

Hours: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (times may vary based on weather)

Our public outdoor ice skating rink brings family-friendly fun for all! Skate rentals and admission can be reserved directly at the rink, located across the hall from Ullr Café.

Locker Rooms

Pool area locker rooms for women, men and families are located adjacent to the aquatics areas.

Complimentary ski lockers can be found on the Plaza Level of Building 1 and Building 3. Please see the Front Desk for ski locker keys. Please note that ski equipment is not permitted in your residence.

Set the room thermostats between 65-68 degrees

Theater Information

The Grand Colorado on Peak 8 features four private movie theaters in the Family Fun Center, located next to the Front Desk in Building 1. A fifth additional private movie theater is located in Building 3. Each movie theater is equipped with state-of-the-art video technology and is operated by using specialized remotes to select a movie or watch DirecTV. Over 450 movies are available for your enjoyment. Select from a combination of action, thriller, comedy, children’s and classic themes.

Theater 1 offers six luxurious recliners with two large bean bags and the ability to play X-Box, Theater 2 offers five recliners and two large bean bags, while Theaters 3 and 4 each offer nine recliners and two large bean bags.
Theater 5 offers seating for up to 15 guests on comfortable, upscale recliners.

Movie theater reservations can be made in advance by calling the Front Desk or Concierge (owners only). Non-owners may make a reservation upon arrival at the resort.

Getting to town:

Gondola: Click here
Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
The BreckConnect Gondola operational hours vary between seasons. Please check the Breckenridge Ski Resort website for updated information. After 3 p.m. the Gondola closes to traffic going from in-town to up the mountain, but simply explain you are staying at the Grand Colorado and you can still hop on.

Common questions of unit amenities

Dishwasher: If the dishwasher says “Rinse Aid” it’s just a reminder, the dishwasher will still run without it. In suites, you must select the options while the dishwasher is open then close it for it to run.

Fireplace: The fireplace has three switches. Two are for the fans and lights, these aren’t necessary for it to run but are recommended. They both also have dimmers. The timer switch is what turns on the flame. Select a time and wait up to two full minutes and the flame should start.

Garbage Disposal: If your garbage disposal isn’t working there is a reset button on the bottom of them. Push it in and it should reset the disposal. It also never hurts to make sure it’s plugged in, sometimes the cord gets knocked loose.

Hood Light & Fan: If you are in an ADA unit and the hood fan and light aren’t working there is a switch for them both to have power. Take a look around, they sometimes get hidden by coffee makers or toasters.

Ice Maker: Lever down on the refrigerator ice machine means the ice-maker is on, lever up means it’s off.

Lights: A light not working? Check the switch as a lot of our lights have dimmers.

Microwaves: Sometimes the microwaves can get unplugged. If yours has no power, look in the cabinet above it and make sure the plug is pushed all the way in.

Telephone: If your phone is not working correctly and you would rather someone not come into your unit, try unplugging it and plugging it back in. Make sure the cord goes into the “WAN” slot. Give it a few moments to restart and see if the problem is resolved. Also, make sure the handset is plugged into the side, not the back.

Toilets: Our toilets are low flow. You have to hold the handle down for a few moments for the bowl to get enough water to flush.

TV: TV showing no signal? Hold down the bottom right button on the remote to change inputs. Still nothing? If you’re comfortable, restart/power cycle the DirecTV box.

Windows: Before you crank the window too hard make sure you’ve unlocked the latches. Some windows have multiple.

Washer/Dryer: “Clean Lint Trap” on the dryer is just a reminder! If you’ve already cleaned it go ahead and start it. Some of our washers and dryers have a countdown on them before they start. Make sure you hold the start button until the countdown is complete. Timed dry is the best option to get your clothes dry. Sometimes the sensors struggle with different fabrics.

What time is check-in/check-out?

Check-in begins at 4 p.m. and check-out is at 10 a.m. MT

Is early check-in or late check-out available?

Due to the robust nature of cleaning each residence, only a limited number of late check-out requests will be granted—12 p.m. instead of 10 a.m.—and for a $50 fee. Please inquire with the Front Desk in advance of your departure to check availability if you are interested in paying for a late check-out. If you find that you will arrive at the resort before the 4 p.m. check-in time, please call the Front Desk prior to your arrival to inquire about the possibility of an early check-in.

Do you have a shuttle into town?

Yes. The shuttle will take you to one of 25 stops within town limits. During the ski season, the Grand Colorado on Peak 8 shuttle will be at your service from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. during winter. From spring until autumn, the shuttle runs from 7 a.m. until 10:45 p.m.

Do you valet?

We have complimentary valet services for all parties taking a tour for the duration of their tour. Tips encouraged.

Day use owners and guests staying overnight can pay $20/day to valet. Valet services are available at all hours.

Do you allow smoking on property?

Only tobacco smoking is allowed in designated areas around the resort. Smoking of any kind is prohibited in all units, unit decks and non-designated areas.

What kitchen items, cleaning supplies and other amenities come in the units?

Each unit has a standard coffee pot and a welcome basket that includes regular and decaf coffee, an assortment of teas, powder creamer packets, sugar and Sweet’N Low, coffee filters and hot chocolate.

Cleaning supplies consists of dish soap, dishwasher soap, trash bags, laundry detergent, paper towels and a sponge.

Will your rooms allow rollaways and Pack ’n Plays? Is there a charge?

Yes; we do offer rollaways and pack’n plays. Rollaways are $10 and pack’n plays are free of charge. Due to fire code restrictions, rollaways and cribs are not allowed in suite units.
