Building 3

What’s New at the Base of Peak 8

Parking and playing at Peak 8 has never been simpler and Grand Colorado owner amenities and perks have never been better. A new ice skating rink, exciting dining options, an exclusive rooftop lounge and infinity hot tub overlooking the resort—the spectacular list goes on.

This winter, we celebrated the grand opening of Phase 4 at the Grand Colorado on Peak 8. With the completion of Building 3, Breckenridge Grand Vacations and Breckenridge Ski Resort welcomed one of the biggest capital investments in the ski industry for the 2019/20 season.

Owners and guests are loving the impressive new Peak 8 epicenter. The VIP vibes flow from spacious heated underground parking and the gondola to heated escalators to an all-in-one guest services area. A new state-of-the-art base facility ensures quick and convenient mornings, relocating Breckenridge Ski Resorts’ ski and snowboard school, childcare, retail, gear rentals and lift ticket windows into a single indoor stop.

From there, it’s just steps out to the heated plaza and onto the Colorado and Rocky Mountain SuperChair lifts. In the summer, all of the Epic Discovery zipline, mini golf, coaster, bungee and mountain biking action is a stone’s throw from the new ticket windows.

Building 3 Views

Soak up some rays on the heated outdoor slopeside plaza, now offering plenty of space to take in the scene while enjoying ski-in/ski-out access to Robbie’s Tavern and the new Ullr Café. The modern grab-n-go coffeehouse is stocked with breakfast and après bites, specialty coffee drinks, regional wines and Colorado brews  from 14 pour-it-yourself taps. Don’t miss Ullr Cafe’s famous bloody mary and mimosa options.

Ice Rink

Around the corner, you’ll find the new Peak 8 public ice skating rink. Rent skates and helmets at the adjacent Breck Blades and take some laps accompanied by a cozy fire pit and stunning mountain vistas. During summer months, the rink will shift to shuffleboard and pickle ball court and will offer and intimate yoga classes.

Even more amenities are unfolding this spring and summer! Grand Colorado on Peak 8 owners can set up basecamp among 71 plush new Building 3 units, including garden-level ski-in/ski-out lodging with plaza decks seconds from the chair lifts. Play in the new Building 3 aquatics area’s indoor/outdoor pool, zero-entry children’s pool and luxury outdoor infinity hot tub overlooking the slopes.

Take the skybridge connecting Building 3 to the Grand Lobby and access the exclusive rooftop Elev8 Lounge complete with outdoor grills, fire table seating and unprecedented 360-degree views of the resort, Bald Mountain and the Continental Divide.

The Peak 8 transformation continues inside Building 3 on the fourth floor where a new 15-seat private owners movie theater opens this spring with reclining chairs and over 300 movies to choose from. Also on the fourth floor, a brand new all-ages Escape Room welcomes 10 people at a time to solve clues and work together to make it out of the Breckenridge history-themed room.

Welcome to the new Grand Colorado on Peak 8!
