The Breckenridge Wine Classic is a premier destination event where master winemakers, culinary greats, and distinguished guests gather to play, wine, and dine in beautiful Breckenridge, CO. Where
There are multiple events happening in different locations in Breckenridge. The Breckenridge Wine Classic offers a variety of experiences on the mountain, in restaurants, classrooms, and around town, which can increase your knowledge, and enjoyment of food and wine as well as the experiences Breckenridge has to offer.
The grand finale and largest gathering of the weekend is The Grand Tasting on Saturday. This takes place at the Riverwalk Center.

- Breck Uncorked: Carboy Winery$125Date: September 13th
Time: 7 – 9 p.m.
Location: Carboy Winery at Goldpan Saloon, 103 N Main St
What: Wine Dinner Series, Pairing
A celebration of local food and fine wine! The Breckenridge Wine Classic is proud to kickoff a weekend of great wine and food with a series of wine dinners at local establishments all over Breckenridge. The Executive Chef of Carboy presents an artfully crafted five course meal and wine pairing with Carboy wines. Imagine Bison Carpaccio with a North Coast California Chardonnay, and Short Rib Ravioli with Grand Valley Cabernet Franc – just as a sample of the amazing menu to come. Seats are limited.
- Italy’s Best Luncheon$75Date: September 14th
Time: 1 – 2:30 p.m.
Location: Legends Steak & Italian Restaurant, 215 S Ridge St
What: Pairing, Selections by Master Sommeliers
Master Sommeliers Sean Razee and Damon Ornowski take you on an Italian tour through the regions of Barolo, Brunello and Bolgheri. You will learn what differentiates these three “B” wines, and why they are synonymous with high-quality reds. Legends Executive Chef will have delectable small plates to pair with the wines from these great regions.
- Stroll Breckenridge$45Date: September 14th
Time: 4 – 6:30 p.m.
Location: Main Street Breckenridge
What: Large Walk-Around Tasting, 30+ Wineries
Stroll down Breckenridge’s delightfully preserved old mining town main street to savor a wide collection of wine, beer and spirits. The Stroll Stop venues include art galleries, tasting rooms, and other historic spaces. At each stop, a subset of wine, beer and spirit representatives will sample their favorites, as well as provide as much detail as you want to learn! The focus of this tasting is the libations, and we end the event right in time to make your dinner reservation at one of Breck’s excellent restaurants. As you stroll through town, note the restored structures and take in the beautiful art at the galleries! This is much more than your usual art walk with as many as 10-15 wines, beers, or spirits to sample at each stop.
- Best of the Fest$80Date: September 14th
Time: 7:30 – 9:30 p.m.
Location: The Maggie, 1600 South Park Ave
What: Large Tasting, 20+ Wineries
Raise your glass and join a select group of wineries as they present their best of show in this intimate tasting experience. Set at The Maggie at the base of the mountain, this event selects the gems in participating wineries portfolios for you to sip, swirl, and savor. Only 90+ point ratings, reserve bottles, and high price points will make the cut in this unique tasting opportunity. Our friends at Vail Resorts, will be on hand offering their delectable cheese and desserts to accompany these fine wines and end the night with an unforgettable tasting. Limited tickets available.

Location: Riverwalk Center
What: Large Tasting, Most Popular Event of the Weekend, 40+ Wineries
Don’t miss the grand finale and largest gathering of the weekend! The Grand Tasting culminates with an impressive selection of hundreds of domestic and international wines, premium craft beer and spirits, and gourmet local food purveyors. Located in the heart of Breckenridge at the Riverwalk Center, prepare for a unique sensory immersion.
- Hair Of The Dog$65Date: September 16th
Time: 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Location: Spencers at Beaver Run, 620 Village Rd
What: Outdoor Adventure: Brunch, Beers, Fat Biking
Sweat out those toxins and end your weekend right. Led by local bike enthusiasts from Ridden, riders will embark on an intermediate mountain bike tour through scenic Breckenridge and Summit County. Enjoy a delicious brunch from Beaver Run Resort following the ride and some creative breakfast beers, beermosa’s, and beer cocktails from Elevation Brewery. A great end to an indulgent weekend!
Fat bikes and helmets will be provided by Ridden. Space is limited!
The Breckenridge Wine Classic features hundreds of wines from around the world and the everyday to the esoteric. The list of their wine participants continues to grow leading up to the event.
