The Breckenridge International Festival of Arts, or BIFA, is a 10 day festival that celebrates culture, arts, and entertainment in the mountains. This eclectic festival is filled with unique events for the whole family including dances, theater, “art hikes”, a circus and more!

Monuments

Craig Walsh comes to Breckenridge with his unique pieces of art. Known for creating works of art that portray the commonalities of nature and the human mold, these moving projections are a sight to see! Cruise around Breckenridge and see these installations light up the night!
Tree-o
When: August 10, August 17 -20, 2017: 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm
Where: Illinois Creek Trail – Breckenridge CO
Cost: Free
Live music consisting of llist Russick Smith, violinist Karen Lauffer and mandolinist Kevin Larkin. Enjoy a hike through the Illinois Creek trail while listening to the classic music of these three musicians as the stay elevated in the tree from above.
Aurous Trove

Where: Iowa Hill Trail, Breckenridge CO
Cost: Free
Utilizing the natural elements from the historic Iowa Hill Mine, Nikki Pike invites you to remember the history of the area and the natural resources of the area. Her Installation on this trail enjoys a beautiful sculpture of these natural resources.
Peoples’ Puzzled Place

A collaboration of bricks made by the Breckenridge community are put together by artist Sarah Langsam. Explore these puzzle pieces put together and see these bricks come together!
There’s Always Something Here, by Michael McGillis

Utilizing vibrant colors, this installation is one that will make you stop and explore. These exciting works of art from Michael McGillis invite you to stop and take a look at nature with a different perspective.
Los Trompos

These interactive installations are put on display as ‘spinning tops’ that children can explore and play on. Each shape of these installations are inspired by nature.

This marching band of 30 consists of a variety of different cultures including Taiko drumming, Chinese Lion Dancing, Mexican street processions and more! Live music starts at 6 and Itchy-O comes on at 8:30.
Charlie Chaplin’s The Gold Rush
