When: Friday, September 9th – Sunday, September 11th. 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Saturday, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Sunday.

What: A celebration of beer that features German cuisine, countless beer vendors, face-painting stations, a 5k run, German themed games like Hammerschlagen, collectible steins, live music, dancing, lederhosen, outdoor entertainment and more.

37th Annual Ski & Snowboard Swap

When: Friday, September 9th – Sunday, September 11th. 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Saturday, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Sunday.

What: Purchase new and used gear for the upcoming season, at insanely discounted prices. You can also consign your used gear by dropping it off on Thursday the 8th and Friday the 9th.

Breck Wine Classic

inntopiaWhere: Various locations throughout town, but Breck Arts District will host the Grand Tasting main tasting event.

When: Thursday, September 15th – Sunday, September 18th. Events run daily from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. on Sunday.

What: Breck’s first wine classic offers one-of-a-kind, interactive events and outings, all of which incorporate wine in some way.  The schedule includes dinners, hikes, bike rides, yoga, wine pairings, lunches and an educational tasting called Somm Slamm.

36th Annual Breck Film Fest

When: Thursday, September 15th – Sunday, September 18th, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. on Thursday, 11 a.m. – 11:15 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. – 11 p.m. on Saturday, 10 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. on Sunday.

What: A festival of film that incorporates fun, history and adventure with events that highlight production, the outdoors, yoga, social issues, documentaries and more.

International Snow Science Workshop

Where: Various locations in Breckenridge. See link above for details.

When: Monday, October 3rd – Friday, October 7th. Various times for different events each day. See their schedule online.

What: This international event brings avalanche professionals together to share knowledge on everything snow and backcountry. It will also feature the renowned event known as the Taste of Colorado, formerly called the Taste the Summit.

Breckenridge Grand Vacations Fall Fest

When: Saturday, October 15th from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

What: A free family event with trick or treating, arts and crafts, obstacle courses, caramel apple decorating, balloon art, bouncy castles, pumpkin decorating, trampolines, face painting, live DJ and much more. This fundraiser benefits the FIRC with suggested $5 donations for attendees.

The Devil Makes Three Concert

What: The Devil Makes Three is a three-person band that incorporates American blues, ragtime, country, folk and rockabilly.

Still on the Hill: Breckenridge Craft Spirits Festival

When: Friday, October 21st – Sunday, October 23rd. Various events run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with an after party at the Gold Pan Saloon on Saturday until 2 a.m.

What: A celebration of the spirits industry that brings a plethora of craft distillers to Breck, with restaurant specials, pub crawls, historic saloon tours, a grand tasting and more!

Dia de Los Muertos

Where: Breckenridge Arts District and throughout town.

What: This community exhibition serves as a tribute to the dead and will include art installations, altars, hands-on workshops, music, costumed mariachis, Aztec dancers, skeleton face painting and more.
