The weather is outside is delightful! Bluebird skies paired with the warmth of the Colorado sunshine, why not make a trip up to the high country? We’re hearing lots of stories of people “beating the heat” of high temperatures and escaping to the mountains. We’re expecting average daytime temperatures in the mid 70’s. Ahhh. Life is good here in Breckenridge!

Here’s what is going on this weekend:

Friday, June 28:

6:00 p.m.- The Family Intercultural Resource Center (FIRC)is hosting the 2nd Annual Runway Fashion Show fundraiser at the Riverwalk Center and will feature a prerformance by the all-vocal group, FACE. For tickets and more information, click here.

7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. – The Backstage Theater- Avenue Q, The Musical, directed by Christopher Willard, is a story about friends trying to find their purpose in life. This is not a show for kids, but a rather musical for grown-ups with a “Sesame Street meets South Park” kind of twist. To purchase tickets, click here.

Saturday, June 29:

11:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m.-The Backstage Theater – Charlotte’s Web, directed by Christopher Willard, is a all-ages play not to be missed. The iconic story was named “the best American children’s book of the past two hundred years.” For tickets and more information, click here.PRCA Pro Rodeo Breckenridge

3:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. – PRCA Pro Rodeo- Time to bust out the cowboy boots and your 10 gallon hats! The rodeo is back in town! Every Saturday and Sunday through September 1st, the rodeo offers entertainment for all ages. Visit this page for more info.

7:30 p.m. – National Repertory Orchestra- The NRO presents Brahms & Sibelius at the Riverwalk Center. Tickets can be purchased here.

9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Breckenridge Sunday Market- Every Sunday through September 8, check out the farmer’s market at Main Street Station. More than 40 vendors will showcase fresh produce, artisian crafts, jewelry, homemade treats and more!
