There’s never a dull moment up here in the High Country! Aside from hiking, biking, climbing and rafting, Breckenridge is the perfect place to escape the heat and have a ton of fun.

Here’s what is going on this weekend:

Friday, June 21:

9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.- Dillon Farmers Market- Take a water taxi over to Dillon from Frisco and stroll through the open-air farmers market. The market features over 90 vendors that offer Colorado grown produce, crafts, textiles, flowers, jewelry and more. Click here for more info.

7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. – The Backstage Theater- Avenue Q, The Musical, directed by Christopher Willard, is a story about friends trying to find their purpose in life. This is not a show for kids, but a rather musical for grown-ups with a “Sesame Street meets South Park” kind of twist. To purchase tickets, click here.

7:30-9:30 p.m.- Breckenridge Music Festival- The Riverwalk Center is hosting two of the world’s most celebrated fiddlers, Natalie MacMaster and Donnell  Leahy. Tickets start at $28. For more information or to purchase tickets, click here.

Saturday, June 22:

1:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.- Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival- Back for the third year, the Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival is this weekend in Keystone. Vendors from all over the country will bring thousands of pounds of bacon and bacon-inspired dishes from around the world for two days of bacon feasting.  For more event info, click here.

3:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. – PRCA Pro Rodeo- Time to bust out the cowboy boots and your 10 gallon hats! The rodeo is back in town! Every Saturday and Sunday through September 1st, the rodeo offers entertainment for all ages. Visit this page for more info.

7:30 p.m. – National Repertory Orchestra- The NRO presents Tchaikovsky & Schumann at the Riverwalk Center. Tickets can be purchased here.

9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – Breckenridge Sunday Market- Every Sunday through September 8, check out the farmer’s market at Main Street Station. More than 40 vendors will showcase fresh produce, artisian crafts, jewelry, homemade treats and more!
