Finally – Breckenridge has a few new boutique options that don’t break the bank. Big City Blues and Canary in a Clothes Mine have long offered designer fashion in Breckenridge – but with the price tags to match. With their amazing selections and buyers that truly have their fingers on the pulse of what’s hot, both stores offer incredible styles for those with bigger budgets.
However, recent additions to Breckenridge now bring affordable fashion to the rest of us. Valley Girl, Moxie and now, Vintage all bring stylish duds with price tags that more closely match the incomes of those of us lucky enough to call Breckenridge home.
If you are looking for a unique gift or affordable new dress, Vintage offers both! From cute, oversized costume rings to faux fur-lined sweaters, Vintage offers a wide range of styles that fit almost anyone’s budget. Just today I bought a crochet-type sweater for $30-something and fell in love with an over-sized, leather purse (may have to go back later) that was under $50.
Next door, partner store Marigolds brings farm-themed chic (is that possible?) again at great prices. Antique furniture, artwork and garnishes for the home transport you to a different time when you’re in the store. Trendy, metal and rhinestone necklaces and earrings from $25-50 are great additions to your wardrobe or make fantastic gifts.
Vintage and Marigolds are both located on the upstairs level of the shopping center on central Main Street Breckenridge by the Crown coffee shop & deli. They are both also conveniently located near D’Vine Wines where you can taste Colorado-made wines every day – but that is for another day.
