As we said before we love the Summit Foundation and everything they do for the nonprofit organizations in Summit County. Originally established in 1984, The Summit Foundation is dedicated to improving the quality of life for residents and guests of Summit County and Neighboring Communities.

The Summit Foundation works to generate significant revenues to return to community organizations. Through a variety of efforts including securing corporate donations and hosting special events such as the Labor Day Rubber Duck Race the Summit Foundation generates funds and then donates it back to deserving non-profits in the community.

Twice each year, the Foundation provides grants to organizations in Summit County and neighboring communities and these organizations provide programs or services in the areas of art and culture, education, environment, health and human service, and sports. In addition, an annual scholarship program provides funding to local high school graduates to pursue post-secondary education.

Since 1986, The Foundation has awarded more than $14.5 million in grants and scholarships.

The Foundation’s office is located at 111A Lincoln Avenue in Breckenridge, Colorado. Give them a call at (970) 453-5970, email them at sumfound@summitfoundation.org or visit their Website at www.summitfoundation.org

Think about how awesome this is. All you have to do is eat at Amazing Grace on Monday January 9th and you will be helping needy and deserving people here in Summit County. It’s a no Brainer!!
