Oktober Fest Performers dancing to Polka Music in Breckenridge Breckenridge’s 17th Annual Oktoberfest will take place on September 16-18, 2011 and includes a fun-filled weekend of fall foliage, great parties, Paulaner bier, genuine German cuisine, collectible steins and live music. Don’t miss the largest Oktoberfest in the Rocky Mountains! Oktoberfest in Breckenridge kicks off on Friday evening with the Brewmaster’s Dinner at the Salt Creek Saloon starting at 6p.m. This dinner is a multi-course meal elegantly paired with European biers and wines. The Main Street celebration takes place on Saturday from 11am-6pm and on Sunday from 11am-5pm. In addition to beer and more than two dozen food vendors, there is Oompah and polka music, lots of dancing, a 5K run, traditional Oktoberfest costumes, Bavarian dancers and family friendly activities.
