Breckenridge Summer Activities at the Peak 8 Fun Park

summer_alpineslide_funpark_gibsonIf you are looking for things to do in Breckenridge, CO, the Breckenridge Peak 8 Fun Park at Breckenridge Ski Resort has even bigger and better attractions this summer with activities for all ages.  Take a ride on the Gold Runner Coaster, or the famous Alpine Slide!  Park for free in the Gondola Lot in downtown Breckenridge, and take the free shuttle bus up to Peak 8 or enjoy the scenic gondola ride.  Other Breckenridge activities at the Peak 8 Fun Park include mountain biking, chairlift rides, gold panning, bungee jumping, pony rides, bounce house, mini-golf and much more!  The Peak 8 Fun Park is open every day from 10am – 6pm until September 4th. From September 9th – 18th, the Breckenridge Peak 8 Fun Park will be open on weekends only.

In addition to all of these exciting Breckenridge activities, our friends at the Peak 8 Fun Park have also started offering BreckTreks Guided Hikes this summer. Each hike includes an experienced guide, water, and a granola bar, use of a day pack, hiking poles, and rain poncho. Hikes are on Breckenridge Mountain and you can learn about Breckenridge’s history, wildflowers and wildlife, all while experiencing amazing views! Hike options include Tiger Edge Nature Hike and Horseshoe Bowl Nature Hike.

Another activity in Breckenridge being offered through the Peak 8 Fun Park is the all-new Breck 4×4 Off Road Tours. You can experience the thrill of riding in an open-air 4×4 vehicle that goes up Peaks 7 & 8. Along the way, you will learn about Breckenridge’s history from your driver, who will also point out local wildlife, natural features, and interesting landmarks that are off the beaten track! Your driver will also stop along the way so you can hike around and take photos in the beautiful alpine setting.
